YOUTH GARDENING CLASSES

We offer one-off Enrichment Classes as well as our Garden Tots group, an 8-week caregiver-child gardening program. These are the perfect way to sprout a love of learning and appreciation for the outdoors. Through hands-on activities and exploration, children will:

  • Get their hands dirty planting seeds and tending to a garden

  • Learn about the life cycle of plants and where their food comes from

  • Develop social skills through interaction with other children and caregivers

  • Enjoy the fresh air and sunshine while engaging in nature play


GARDEN TOTS group

Garden Tots is an 8-week program offered four times a year seasonally, and is a wonderful opportunity for you and your child to bond over a shared love of nature. Sign up today and watch your little one blossom into a curious, environmentally-conscious explorer!

Our classes are currently held in Lago Vista, but we’re always looking to expand our reach throughout the greater Austin area. Email us to request a Garden Tots group in your neighborhood!

CLASS Details

Ages: 18 months - 5 years

Cost: $120 ($15/class)

Time Commitment: 1 hour class once a week for 8 consecutive weeks

Our Rhythm:

Story time and songs in the garden (15 mins)

Lesson/activity (30 mins)

Garden chores (15 mins)

Spring sESSION

Dates: March 28th - May 16th (Fridays)

Time: 9-10am

Location: Lago Vista (exact location shared upon registration)

We’ll come to you! We’re excited to offer one-off enrichment classes for organizations, playdate groups, schools, and more. These fun, themed classes will allow children to deepen their knowledge about specific gardening topics like composting, seed science, and more. Explore the natural world through nature walks, bug hunts, or themed story time in the garden.
